Little Cub
Once upon a time there lived a small tiger family which have member of Tiger as a father, Tigress as a mother, and Cub is their son. They lived happily in the magical forest. One fine morning Cub went out to take a walk by himself around the magical forest. Suddenly, a big Hawk came, and caught Cub. Hawk brought a little Cub to his nestle in the peak of mountain and leaved him alone. Little Cub scared because he never leave the magical forest, he began to cry and roar after all. In the middle of the night, Cub wanted to escape that place, he ran away from that place. He ran as fast as he could and finally arrived in Deer’s den but Cub was insensible. Deer didn’t know Cub is the son of Tiger and he pleased Cub came inside his den. Deer was very kind and Deer took care of Cub all night long.
In the morning, little Cub woke up in good shape. He realized last night he helped by Deer and he said, “Thank you for your helped last night. I really appreciate your kind”. “No problem son, why did you run last night and how come you become like this?” said Deer. Little Cub tell the story why he can be come to Deer’s den. Deer really sympathy of little Cub but he still didn’t realize Cub is a little tiger. Deer told little Cub to stay until he can continue his journey to find his family. During little Cub stayed at Deer’s den, he didn’t eat anything because Deer just served grass for him. Cub was like a fish out of water because of that. After 2 days he stayed at deer’s den little Cub decided to continue his journey. Deer wanted to help little Cub at his journey, and he decided to accompany little Cub.
“If you want to the magical forest you have to pass the Dark forest and also the Red river.” said Deer.
Cub just answered, “I will do everything to find my family again although I must sacrifice myself.”
They went to magical forest that morning. After walked awhile they arrived in the dark forest. Dark forest is the forest without light and of course really dark, sun light cannot penetrate this forest because the trees in that forest is really close. They came inside and holding each other. Inside of the dark forest they met giant Owl. Owl said, “Why do you come to my place?” Cub replied, “We just want to pass this forest Owl, don’t hinder our way”. “You are so arrogant, little. I’ll eat you first for my appetizer”, said Owl.
Owl started attack little Cub and Deer, Cub scared and tried to run away but Deer has magic strength and fought against that giant Owl. Because of ingenuity from Deer they can defeat giant Owl and continued their journey to magical forest, but because of that fought, Deer lost his magic strength for a moment and his strength would return again if he ate green grass. So, they tried to find green grass at the Dark forest, but they didn’t find it. They walked again and succeeded to pass Dark forest. After pass the dark forest, they went to Red river. Red river was river which color is red like blood. It is said, because something killing who pass that river and their blood flow mixed with water.
When they came to Red river, they didn’t find a bridge to pass it, so they tried to walk around the river hoped they can find another way to pass Red river. Suddenly, giant turtle put his head out of the water and said, “If you want to pass this river, one of you must sacrifice himself become my food. So, I will take you to the opposite of this river.” After discussed with Cub, Deer replied, “Ok we agree your condition, but first you must bring us to opposite of this river. So we can choose who will be your food.” Giant turtle agreed with that condition and brought they pass the river. After Deer and Cub arrived to the opposite of the river, Giant turtle wanted one of them. Because of cunningness from Deer they can escape from turtle. Deer told giant turtle if he wanted both of them he must close his eyes first and counted down from 10. Giant turtle agreed and they ran away from that place. After counted down, Giant turtle opened his eyes but he didn’t see both of them. He was angry with them and he cursed that both of them will die in the Magical forest.
Finally, they came to the Magical forest. Cub really happy came back again to his place. Cub was impatient to meet again with his family and introduced Deer, his new friend. But in the same time Deer felt not good felling. Suddenly, Cub’s parent, Tiger and Tigress attacked Deer. Cub tried to explain to his parent but they ignored all of Cub explained. Tiger and Tigress killed Deer and they ate together. Exactly at the same time Cub was really hungry and saw his parent ate, he joined his parent and they ate Deer who helped Cub came back again to magical forest. After they ate Deer, they felt like their body burned. Because before they ate him, Deer collected all of his magic strength to make his body poisoned. All of that family finally died. Every cloud has a silver lining. All of devilment will get the in kind reciprocation.
